Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 26 at 3:53PM EDT until September 27 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level inlow lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties.* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Friday, especially around the time ofhigh tide.* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Islandand docks near Dahlgren.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 11:31 PM and 11:56AM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 12:25 AM and 1:10 PM.The next high tide at Indian Head is at 4:01 PM and 4:19 AM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
