Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, andnortheast Kansas.* WHEN...From Saturday morning through Sunday evening.* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Whiteoutconditions are possible and may make travel treacherous if notimpossible and potentially life-threatening. Power outages andtree damage are likely due to snow, ice and strong wind gusts.Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutelynecessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for suddenchanges in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and themotorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach yourdestination.
